Senior Associate - Human Resources, Executive Recruiting

Mary's been an Executive Recruiter and HR Consultant to various West Coast advertising agencies for the past five years, having founded her own San Francisco based company, Mary King & Co. in 2001.

She began her advertising career over 20 years ago as Secretary to the General Manager of Cunningham & Walsh/San Francisco. From that beginning, she moved into the positions of HR and Administration at other leading San Francisco agencies including N.W Ayer; Foote, Cone & Belding; Cohn & Wells; and TBWA/Chiat-Day. In her final agency role prior to founding MK&Co., Mary was Talent & Operations Director at Red Advertising, a start-up agency founded in the dot.com days of 1999. Where ever Mary worked the quality of employees upgraded, the spirit of the agency improved and the all of work got better.

Having developed strategies and implemented programs for big agencies, small agencies - and everything in between -- Mary really understands the agency business. Most importantly, she really loves the people in it. And that, along with her unique perspective and experience, is what sets her apart.

Mary lives in Berkeley, California where she enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family.
