Bill has been independently consulting for advertising, media and marketing communications companies since mid-2004. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of the AAAA's Management Services Division and its national agency business consultant, a position he held for five years. He provided member agencies and their executives with consulting services and support in agency management, new business, finance, human resources and technology. Bill came to the association with extensive large, mid-sized and small agency operating and financial management experience gained over a more than 30 year- career. Most recently, Bill was at Bozell Worldwide, where he was senior vice president, finance and administration, and Lintas New York, where he was executive vice president, chief financial officer. Previously, he worked at Kornhauser & Calene as executive vice president, chief operating and financial officer and at Cunningham & Walsh Advertising as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He has been responsible for finance, internal operations, some key accounts and oversaw the operation and integration of certain 'through-the-line' subsidiaries and affiliated companies. Bill has frequently written and spoken on current issues facing the industry and, representing agencies' interests, he has often worked with advertisers to develop better industry-wide practices. He has also been vocal in countering questionable consulting and advertiser practices. He is a passionate advocate of the advertising agency business and sometimes goes over the top when discussing its magic. |
