Principals

Steve’s track record is one of successful leadership of Advertising Agencies and agency groups of all sizes. Steve is an expert in developing teams that can deliver broad based integrated communications and has led new business pitches that have won hundreds of millions of dollars in new revenue. Steve has extensive experience in building large agency teams from scratch and has participated in the re-launch or re-branding of several major ad agencies. With a strong grounding in inspiring strategic development, Steve has helped create communications campaigns that have significantly improved the sales and reputations of some of the best-known companies in the world.

Prior to joining A-Team, Steve was President and CEO of FCB New York, where he dramatically grew revenue while operating at an over 20% margin.  Steve also led the re-branding of FCB worldwide.  As COO of Grey Worldwide Atlanta, he helped that satellite office secure a sound financial and operating footing.  Steve was instrumental in the success of darkGrey, a unit within Grey Worldwide dedicated to delivering consumer and client focused  integrated communications.  Under his leadership, that group grew from 12 employees to over 125 in less than four years.  Steve’s foundation with integration goes back to the 1990’s, when he led the creation at Bozell of an integrated service unit for the client that is now Verizon.  Steve has also been a Worldwide Account Director at McCann Erickson on several accounts and most recently ran an advertising strategy consultancy focused on helping CMO’s achieve true integrated communications from their agency teams.

A graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a BS in management and MBA in marketing and lives in Dobbs Ferry, NY, where his active in many local issues, including the High School Football Booster club.  Steve and his wife De have two children.
